Canada Post, union to hold weekend meeting in attempt to break up contract dispute
Staring at a potential strike or lockout as early as next week, top officials at Canada Post and the union representing 50,000 of the Crown agency’s employees are to meet over the weekend.

Truck driver turnover, shortage hiking freight costs
While employers in some industries are fighting the tightened labor market by investing in technology, such as self-checkout counters in grocery stores, employers in other sectors, especially construction and transportation, can’t easily replace people with equipment.
