Due to the second remand of the 2015 USPS price adjustment for Market Dominant products of Standard Mail, Periodicals and Package Services, those rates will be delayed beyond April 26, 2015.
Once the Postal Service files a response to the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) order, the public will have 7 days from the date of that filing to comment on the revised proposal. The Postal Accountability & Enhancement Act (PAEA) of 2006 then requires a minimum of a 45-day implementation notice once the PRC approves the rates. Since we are fewer than 45 days until April 26, a new date must be set by the U.S. Postal Service. This will push the implementation date into May.
There has been no announcement yet from the USPS.
